Warren Norred has been living and working to improve the lives of Arlington citizens for twenty-five years by combining his civic energy and business acumen. His many accomplishments include the founding of Arlington Classics Academy, which remains the largest start-up charter school in the country. He began a manufacturer representative firm that now covers four states. And finally, he has participated in numerous political forays, ranging from the city council level to national politics, where he played a part in the national convention process in 2000.
His legal experiences include leadership as the president of the local Federalist Society, study under Justice Antonin Scalia, and a published work on the Constitution’s Ninth Amendment (14 Tex. Wesleyan L. Rev. 51). His case load tends to be divided between patent prosecution and other intellectual property cases, bankruptcy issues, and civil suits between small and medium-sized businesses and their partners.
Other legal experiences include work on non-compete agreements, consumer issues, slander, home loan modifications, landlord/tenant law, and business entity creation.
